If the new owner is emptying your boat….(a story written by COVID)

It’s not my favourite job to empty my old boat. In these times everybody has to find some special solutions. The new owner of Lifgun was using the Easter to empty her totally. To be honest, I was never sure how much stuff I stored inside the boat, the photos are now the proof, that obviously it was too much))). Based on these pics, I’ve decided not to pick up my stuff by myself – it makes more sense to ship it by truck to Slovenia and sort it out there. However, a huge “thank you” to the new owner for this outstanding effort to empty her.  And to Luffe shipyard in Kolding obviously provided great technical support with forklift and pallets and stuff. Teamwork is always key! This is proof that sailors are always straightforward! I’m totally excited and (as mentioned in an earlier post) absolutely happy with her new owner. As soon as possible I will fly up to her and then for sure we do a proper technical handover combined with a couple of Tuborg beers))))

Happy Easter and a big cheers! Good luck in your new life – Lifgun.

By the way, the new Lifgun is making progress, the hull will be painted over the next weekend, and then the final fit-out takes place.

4’th of April 2021 – landlocked in Switzerland
