You can't cross an ocean without leaving the port


Lifgun is built for short hand sailing. She is equipped with a full set of Raymarine instruments and a Fischer-Panda Generator.

Since now she also has an Raymarine Radar and a Spectra Catalina MKII Watermaker. 

A Stormsail and a heavy weather Jib was also added in 2013. 

Lifgun was sailing all the nordic waters in the past 3 years, she was visiting Scottland during last summer.

Until now she was doing wonderful and fulfilled all our expectations also in heavy conditions and long distance sailing.

Hull:Glass fibre reinforced polyester (E-glass + Duoaxial-glas) with foam core (Divinycel 20- and 25 mm). In the bottom a TBS steel frame is moulded to the hull which has two intentions: 
1. Where the keel bolts are tightened to the hull. 
2. To make sure the mast stay in its place.

Deck:Glass fibre reinforced polyester with foam core. All fittings are moulded to the deck with plywood. Cast non-slip surfacing. Anchor well with drain and space for a windable headfoil. Access to a large room for the sails through a large hatch. Integrated self-taking traveller.

Cockpit:Large well organized cockpit with self-bailing locker seat under helmsman seat. 2 wheels from Jefa. Stainless steel fitting for cockpit table and GPS on each helm stand. Clutches from Spinlock and winches from Andersen Denmark.

Keel:Slim lead keel with torpedo to give the keel a low chief point. The keel is securely bolted to the steel frame at the bottom of the boat.

Rudder:Glass fibre reinforced polyester with aluminium rudder stock.

Engine:Volvo D2-75, 50 HK med 110A vekselstrømsgenerator, inkl. Ferskvandskøling og 2 bladet foldepropel.

Mast and Rigging:Carbonfibre mast, varnished. Carbonfibre boom. 9/10 rig with 3 spreaders and without runners, standing on keel. Halyards are lead back to the cockpit.

Tanks:Water tank 380 l. Diesel tank 260 l. Holding tanks 2×65 l. All in stainless steel and with filler holes on deck.
